“Streaming”

This is the first in an ongoing series;

Robert C. Barger was the Medic for General Taylor going into Normandy.  Barger was on the same plane as George and General Taylor.  This letter was found while searching for other letters sent to Coach K.  Coach K first sent a letter to Barger’s house where he grew up.  The letter ended up in his hands and that is included along with the documents that was used to create this article.

Buck Barger’s first hand account of his jump into Normandy matched up with the Morning Reports and Medical Records.  Buck Barger’s letter tells the story better than I ever could.
