Staff Sergeant Robert R. Brewer Company A 508th Parachute 82nd Airborne Division became a POW June 11, 1944 at les Moiters en Bauptois.

Staff Sergeant Brewer ended up at Stalag III C.  On January 31, 1945 the Germans started moving the POWs away from the Camp.  Two miles into the forced march ran into a group of Russian Tanks.
