WWII Records From Start To Finish

This is the best example of a soldier in WWII and his records from the day they entered into Active Duty to the day they were separated from the Army.

 

The first page is the 53-55, the condensed version of the Soldier’s Qualification Card (Pages 2 & 3) which is more detailed than the 53-55.  The Soldier’s Qualification Card is a condensed version of the soldier’s Service Records.  

 

The Service Records which starts on page 4 (as mentioned above) has all of a soldier’s records.

 

(The Army’s 53-55 was the forerunner of today’s DD-214)
